Contemporary Slatted Driveway Gates and Parking Widening in Queens Park
Professional 12 metres installation completed in Queens Park, delivering a high quality finished result designed to improve appearance, durability and long-term value.
Before & After
Customer Requirements
The customer wanted to improve access and parking on their driveway, where a laurel hedge was limiting usable space. The existing double gates also needed replacing, and once the hedge was removed, an unrendered breeze block wall would become visible. The aim was to create a more practical driveway with a clean, modern appearance that improved both vehicle access and kerb appeal.
Work Completed
The laurel hedge was removed, including the roots, to open up the driveway area. A wooden framed soil border was also removed down to ground level. The driveway space was widened using Purbeck stone, creating additional usable parking area. The old double gates were replaced with new contemporary slatted double gates. A matching screen, inspired by the design of the new gates, was also created to cover the unrendered breeze block wall that had previously been hidden behind the laurel hedge.
Conclusion
The customer gained better vehicle access and extra parking space on the driveway. The new contemporary gates and matching screen created a more modern, coordinated entrance, improving the overall appearance of the property and enhancing kerb appeal.
